Can your lawn withstand Hurricane? GrassTex can!

Interesting fact: Our before and after images were of back yard affect by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The dealer had reached out in panic, asking if the product would drain. Our answer confidently was yes!

Merriam-Webster defines permeability as the quality or state of being permeable. Permeable is having pores or openings that permit liquids or gases to pass through.

GrassTex is some of the best turf available on the market. Our turf has been tested and has some of the strongest tuft binds allowing for increased vertical drainage at a rate of 30” per hour per square yard. We have tested drainage through our synthetic turf and calculated the correct number perforations needed for the proper drainage. Some companies will promote a knitted /woven product that allows water to pass through at a rapid rate. The downfall to water passing through too fast is the increased flow will cause the aggregate to wash out and create grooves that can be seen and felt through the turf.

GrassTex Permeability

Our synthetic turf drains water faster than natural grass; our backing is nonabsorbent and does not promote mold or mildew, which makes it perfect for rainy places and people with pets. Pets love our turf and homeowners can rest assured that having their animals on their beautiful synthetic lawn will not damage it. So if you are looking for superior turf with incredible drainage then look no further than GrassTex. If you have any questions please call one of our Account Managers.
