Static build-up occurs on playground equipment that can transfer to the synthetic turf surface. This can be remedied by utilizing a simple household item. Liquid fabric softener can be used in a pump sprayer mixed with water. The recommended ratio for the treatment solution is 1 part fabric softener to 5 parts water. The best treatment time is at the close of the playground (please make sure it isn’t going to rain).
DIRECTIONS
• Apply by using a pump sprayer.
• Simply spray the solution directly to the surface and let it dry. This treatment can be reapplied as needed.
• Treat as needed or once a quarter.
• Due to the sensitivity of toddlers’ skin we recommend using fabric softener/antistat that is free of scent, color, and dyes.
